Smoked weed, check
Ran from cops, check
Arrested, no

Dumb dumb dumb.

Now he's been dismissed from the team.

Interesting values: baseball coach gets a DWI and shows, IMO, little remorse; a football player runs into an apartment building and little happens to him; a baseball player has urinates in public, has a little dope, and runs from the police and he's dismissed from the team ( two misdemeanors).

If you can read, let me suggest you get your hands on a copy of Augie Garrido's book and read about his DUI in his own words. Otherwise, STFU.

Got a little testy, did you? I can read just fine, thank you very much. If you can too, maybe you noticed that I wrote IMO when I wrote about the baseball coach's DWI. You have your opinion and I have mine, but I'll refrain from telling you to STFU becuase I don't bash other posters no matter what I think of them.

"Question after he enrolls is he still eligible for the MLB draft?"

Sure, but he can't leave until his 3rd year. MLB teams will take later-round risks on guys who they think might leave college, or remain loyal to them for an extra year or two.

I think this stinks. I think Jordan was an idiot for what he did and I'm sure he'd tell you that. I don't think the punishment fit the crime and it kind of irks me that booting him *appears* to solve a problem in the scholarship department.

It also bothers me how quick some of you are to throw him under the bus.

I wish Jordan the best and thanks for the time spent at Texas
