as my favorite regular SNL host.

The Curse with the saxophone, the Scott Brown skit. Don Draper doing Def Comedy Jam....gold.

If he co-hosted or did a skit with Timberlake...now that would be Hulu victory.

Do you have to watch Mad Men to like the episode? Because I thought it sucked, a lot. The Sergio skit was atrocious....almost as bad as the cats with laser eyes.

That was a great episode last night.

Im glad to see we have so many SNL fans... I thought I was the only one.

I love this cast. Kristen Wiig is a superstar. She blows me away in everrry skit.

Bill Hader, Will Forte, Andy Samberg, Jason Sedakis.. and even the featured players Abby and Bobby are looking like they will make the main cast.

SNL went from sucking all the time, to being a must watch for me.

I still can't stomach Wiig, but strangely Kenan Thompson is starting to grow on me. Which is to say I used to hate him, but am now finding myself unexpectedly laughing at some of his bits. The rest of the cast can be pretty hit and miss, with Armiston starting to warm up at being the male anchor of the show (clearly Wiig is the superstar for this cast).

I thought this episode was a lot of fun, maybe the best of the season so far.

I forgot about Fred.. Hes bad *** too.

Wiig is usually hit or miss with people. I loved the "Dont make me sing" skit. That was classic Wiig. But I can understand how people get tired of it.

The only real Don Draper-esque jokes were the ones in the monologue (BTW I really liked the 'Late For Class' one "You panic every time there's a quiz like it even matters...You make me sick")

PFD, I love the blow-by-blow.

I realize that Wiig is the biggest talent on the show right now and said as much in my post. I personally don't find her to be funny, and her bits tend to skeeve me out. It is comedy, it is subjective, I'm allowed to have my opinion. I recognize full and well that I'm in the minority.

I offer no excuse for my recent turn on Thompson. He has been, throughout his carrier, a violent vortex of horror and sadness. Furthermore, I can offer no real explanation of why I've recently started to find him less than the destroyer of happiness and the swallower of joy. Which is to say, I wrote what I did much to my own shame. All the same, lately his bits have NOT made me want to club baby seals. That is improvement.

I agree that his Obama impression is a little too on the nose and lacking in laughs. The purpose of satire is to grossly accentuate a persons more obvious flaws, and the flaw that SNL/Armiston seem to focus on is his woodenness, which is a little lame. I attribute this less to politics, than the fact that Obama is himself not quite that easy to sum up in a single characture quite as easily as Bush or Clinton were. There isn't a defined schtick to play to so they are still figuring him out.
