Johnny Manziel

I hope Texas offers this amazing Junior QB from Kerrville Tivy. He's currently committed to the Aggies after decommiting from Oregon. I've seen him play twice against Lake Travis and he's the best dual threat QB I've seen in high school.

Manziel can do it all. He's about 6'1" and 190 lbs, I'm guessing. But what a great athlete. He runs like a deer, very fast. He'll run around you, by you or over you. He can make all the throws. This kid is extraordinary. I'd love to see him at Texas; not at A&M.

he has already decommitted once, i would rather not see him decommit a second time to come to Texas. I don't care how good he is, two decommitments would not be good news.

I thought Manziel was outstanding. LT was better then Kerrville, but Manziel, IMO, was the best QB on the field. Manziel has already turned down the # 1 team in the nation.

This kid is great, especially at spotting open receivers and gitting them on the numbers after the play has broken down.

I watched the LT - Tivy game in person and LT did manage to contain Manziel somewhat by forcing him to the middle of the field and picking him off a couple of times. He got his points and his yards, though. LT made some good halftime adjustments to slow Tivy down after a really strong first half by Manziel.

The game could be characterized as a shootout.

I am not any less impressed with Manziel based on the LT game. He is a baller.
