John Fogerty at the Houston Rodeo

His voice is still damn good. Wasn't aware that he was so good with the guitar and his band is damn good as well. It was a real fun upbeat show with all of the big hits included.

The rodeo is a lousy place to see a show but he did about as good as you can.

It was a good time. His voice did sound great and the switching of the guitars every song was awesome.

Fogerty's voice is still excellent considering he's in his early 60's. This show is about as good as you're going to hear in Reliant Stadium. Tremendous vocals and musicians playing hit after hit. I could just imagine how good Fogerty would be at a small venue. Rockefellers on Washington Ave. comes to mind.

If I had but a few minutes left in my life and I was given a chance to hear one last song before I died, it would be Proud Mary.

Dude rocked it. I was very impressed. That was the first time for me to see him in person. I could have sworn he played longer than one hour.

A friend of a friend was hired by Fogerty to play "lead" guitar about a year or two ago. To go from playing small bar gigs to playing in front of thousands...how cool.
