Anyone else see Joba's dad sitting on the walkway behind the plate at the UT/Southern Miss game? Pretty cool that he's still involved in the CWS and college baseball in general. I'm really happy for his Dad that he got to see his son win a WS.

Joba on the other hand, I don't find hard to root against. I actually like the Yankees, but Joba just seems arrogant as hell. I feel for the tough stuff he's overcome through the years and think he could be a real good pitcher in a few years but he just rubs me the wrong way.

I have no problem rooting against Joba the pitcher. Now Mariano Rivera on the other hand I could watch all day. Goes out and does his job without showing up anyone. He is just a joy to watch. Easy pitching motion. Not totally overpowering. Just gets the job done.
