Winless Jets lead 27-17 at the end of the third quarter. Flacco can still throw a beautiful spiral, and the Patriots defense just isn't what it used to be. If I didn't lose count (I was fixing supper while trying to watch at the same time), each team only had one possession in the third quarter--both were long drives that resulted in TDs.
 
Patriots still have to settle for a field goal. That drive took nine minutes. Only six minutes left in the fourth when Jets get the ball for the first time in the period. . . . On the Jets first play, Flacco throws a long bomb into double coverage, and it is intercepted. Leave it to the Jets to find a way to screw up a good thing. . . . and, of course, the Pats drive for TD and then, at the end, kick a field goal as time expires to win by 3. Jets are 0-9.
