Jeffcoat will be a stellar player wherever he goes and I would love it if he played for Texas, but honestly I feel like Coach Boom will keep our defense at the top for years to come regardless of if we get the high profile recruits like Jeffcoat.

That being said, I think it is obvious (especially after Muschamp recently said no to the fake UT) that coach Boom is here to stay and that Jeffcoat would put himself in the best position to be a high first round pick by learning from him.

Take it for what it's worth but Clendon at IT said this Jan 31 date is "probably" unsubstantiated and that the DMN was following the same rumor trail that spurned this originally.
