Thursday and Friday according to BON:

Jackson Jeffcoat, 2010 forward, Plano East: It's hard to say whether Jeffcoat will spend any time with Mack Brown or Will Muschamp during his visit to Austin, but it is a major victory for the Longhorns to get him back to campus and for him to spend another year at the Elite Camp (he attended last year), as he is still talking about playing both sports in college. It's also important because Jeffcoat's sister has been offered by the Oklahoma women's basketball program and even though the siblings aren't expected to go out of their way to attend the same college, it would be disingenuous to say that it won't make an impact at all.

"Are they Twins?"
"Texas should level the playing field and offer her a scholarship."
For basketball or football?

I wonder if the shenanigans surrounding the USC basketball program will have any effect on his decision.

Probably about as much as where his sister decides to attend school.

He was wearing OU shirts back in middle school, so his sister going there probably doesn't have much to do with his decision to attend there also.

I'd love to have him, but I don't want him to "settle" for Texas. With Okafor, Mims, and Wilson already heading to Austin, we'll be ok if Jeffcoat tries to wait us out before choosing someone else.

That's my feeling also. I'd love for him to join our happy circus, but only if he wants Texas as 1st choice. We'll can compete for mnc either way, but its more fun when all the players are united in purpose and love for university and team. He needs to go where he'll feel that pride in the institution 20 yrs later.

Exactly, I know plenty of AAs that seriously considered other schools. The only difference today is that the decisions get more publicity.

I've read statements from Jeffcoat stating he wanted to go to a program where there was enough talent on the line to keep him from facing constant double teams. You would have to think Texas with Bible and Wilson in this recruiting class fits that criteria.

I'll take any five star who is a good kid, weather he "settles" for us or pays us to attend.

DO you guys believe that a guy that was not born with orange blood will not play hard if he comes to Texas? Most five stars know that first round draft picks usually go to guy who produce weather they commit to their college 12 months before signing day or two days late.

I know Jeffcoat's playing his cards real close to the vest, but any word on how his visit went this last week, even if it wasn't for football purposes?
