Jeffcoat at RRR

The Home team (the good guys) hosts. But there are restrictions since this is a neutral site.
I am sure he can be on the sidelines, but I do not know about locker room.

I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for the info!

Texas can host him, but can have no contact of any kind with him. Seriously.

He can't go into the locker room, be with the team at any time, talk to or interact with any coach before..during..or after the game. No sidelines.

The NCAA allows him to do this: Pick up his ticket at the ticket window, attend the game in the stands, and then leave the stadium. Any interaction with Texas is an NCAA infraction.

Dumb rule if you ask me. Basically he is your guest for the game but you can't even acknowledge him due to a rediculous NCAA guideline. .

In that case, they should leave him a ticket smack dab in the middle of the okie end.
By halftime he would surely eliminate ou as a possible destination.

Texas could really use him, but ou's cupboard looks bare once English and (if he declares) Beal leave. Alexander looks to be more of a DT than DE.

The rule is if it is not on your campus you can have not contact. This rule makes perfect sense. While OU and Texas are playing here is a USC recruiter sitting next to him. Along with an UH recruiter, ASU recruiter and so on.

Agreed...nobody but his family knows exactly what Jeffcoat's thinking, but I get a sense it's probably gonna come down to us or the Trojans. (...and we owe 'em one after losing the Arizona DE to 'em last year.)

The question he needs to ask himself, does he want to be a big fish in a little pond or little fish in a big pond. On one side you have SC and Texas and on the other you have ASU and UH.

so, was that it then?

Is he coming to the banquet or something?

Don't tell me our one official visit with this guy was the one that we are not allowed to talk to him.

I've seen Jeffcoat's current team. They are not very good and, as a result, he doesn't get to perform as he is capable of performing. They double team him and run most plays away from him. I bet he would love to be on a team like Texas where there are other guys to worry about as well, and he can kick all kinds of ***.

If the rule is that you cannot have contact with him unless he is on your campus, then how could recruiters from USC, UH, ASU, etc. have contact with him at the Cotton Bowl?

i did the same double take, dirty. i think he means if they didn't restrict contact to just on your campus, those guys would be surrounding recruits and their fams at games.

Football is in an evaluation period so no recruiters can have off-campus contact with him except for his dad. And yes everyone is following the rules knowing his dad knows the rules too!

I was saying about the rule is that if it is not in place then other schools would have their recruiters surrounding him.

The rule is if he is not on your campus you can't have contact with him. So this prevents other schools recruiters from badgering him during as an example the Texas/OU game.

I think it should be pointed out that this wasn't an "Official" either, I belive he was just a "guest". I'm pretty sure he can still take his official to Texas in the near future.

LOL.

I suppose that either word would work in a figurative sense. I do not even want to consider the literal scenarios.

With Wilson and Okafor potential starters in the future, can Jeffcoat be the dominant Tackle that we need?

Jeffcoat looked really explosive in the basketball game last night. I would say the 6'5" measurement is accurate. West had a guy about 6'10" and Jeffcoat was smaller but didn't look like a midget compared to the center for West.
