Mike Doocy just ended his sportscast by saying that Jeffcoat will announce on Fox 4 Friday at 9:00.

Not according to what the Dallas Morning News just posted:

"Previous reports had Jackson Jeffcoat planning to announce his final decision Sunday night on Fox 4, but Jim Jeffcoat said that's no longer the plan and that his son doesn't have a designated day selected to announce his decision before national signing day next Wednesday."

I said all along that if we got one of the White, Hicks, Jeffcoat trio we would have done well. Personally, I think we are going to have to be happy with Darius. My gut tells me that Hicks to Ohio State and Jeffcoat to goonerville.

Jeffcoat grew up a gooner fan, Hicks grew up a horn fan. So that is what my gut is telling me. Who the hell knows? As I have said before, I love the class we already have, either of these would be very sweet icing on the cake.

I dont know why but I dont get the feeling we will get either. I hope I am wrong but since Okam many years ago and Christian Scott a few years ago when was the last time we got a big name recruit the last weekend before signing day or on signing day.

Would be great to get one, awesome to get both but after last year with DE from Arizona we lost to USC, the LB from Georgia and CB from Alabama and others in years past, I tend to think if they arecoming to Texas they know and dont have to wait. Hope I am wrong.
