This guy is fun to watch. Has such a sweet shot. At the end of the game, he was demanding the ball during a timeout and Dex just puts his arm around him to tell him it's ok. We've got this one. It was pretty funny.

The guy is automatic. My favorite thing may be the 97% from the line.

The best thing to me was that in ever other game I've seen him play, there have been three or four plays where you just said "what was he thinking???"

Today, he had two turnovers, but I thought he made really good decisions with the ball. He didn't force a lot of things, and the result was his best game of the season.

What I'm finding especially satisfying about J'Covan is that he seems like a great kid as well as a special ball player. I really didn't know what kind of kid he was during the extended recruiting/enrollment period, but certainly didn't read anything positive that I recall. His attitude and behavior have been a pleasant surprise, especially his desire to wear Varez's number out of respect after he went down for the season.

Commentator said he is playing 20-30 lbs. heavier than Barnes wants. So he'll lose weight and gain quickness as the season wears on.
