jason kidd sucks

1) He cannot shoot

2) He cannot score or create scoring opportunities for himself

3) He was brought in here to "close out games" because he was a "winner." Instead, we have lost nearly every close game, especially against teams above .500. in the last game, we had a chance to tie or go ahead of the Lakers. The ball was passed to him and he couldnt decide if he should shoot it (15 secs left or so) or not b/c he knows he cant make something like that so he double pumped and then decided he better take a shot with the clock running down....absolutely miserable

Im a big Mavs fan and have been since even the lean days as a Dallas resident for 26 years, but watching Kidd lately is making me sick

I've pretty much given up on the Mavs. It's time to tear this thing apart. Too much age and not enough creators off the dribble. It's agonizing watching them die a slow death over the last 2 months of the season.

I've been a fan for as long as I can remember....I'm only 22 and can remember back in the old days when they were terrible. Seen many games at Reunion and AAC including playoffs. However I was NEVER a fan of the Jason Kidd trade. The team that didn't make any moves before the trade deadline just got off a 22 game winning streak! Kidd just missed another 3 as I'm typing this! God he sucks old man ***. I know Dallas wasn't going to win a championship with Devin but we are even worse with Kidd. Dallas should have waited until the offseason to make a trade.

Nash was let go because Cuban didnt want to pay more towards the luxury tax more than his age. Turns out the Mavs are paying more with Kidd at this point than they would with Nash I think.

Mavs finish 7th and have to play the spurs or lakers and lose in the first round again. I'm done with them for the season including the playoffs after watching the Boston game!

I was against this trade when it was made and I'm against it even more now. Not only did we give up on Devin Harris, but we gave up our interior depth.

I have no direct proof, but this trade was made by Avery Johnson I am betting. From the reaction Cuban had after Sunday's game I have a feeling he's going to hold Avery accountable for every penny of the 17M he gave up to make this trade. Avery never did trust Harris and the Mavs reached and it's going to bite them on the butt for 2-3 years until they can get rid of that contract and reload. By then Dirk will be past his prime. Somehow I have a feeling that first rounder in 2011 may be lottery. I was in favor of the trade because I trusted Avery. Not looking good so far. Also, Dirk got hammered on that drive late in the game. Tues Stack gets a chippy over the back and tonight Dirk takes a hard shot to the body and the Mavs lose out on both calls. Calls that were game breakers at home. At home you shouldn't be beat by one call, but dang, BBall gods are not on their side.
