Did Texas even recruit this young man?

I follow UT recruiting somewhat and don't even recall his name ever being mentioned.

LSU may have a good one.
 
I am almost positive we did not as we had John Brantley locked up for almost the entire recruiting season (and then Brantley backed out at the last second).
 
We also took Chiles in that class. When Brantley backed out, we may have gone after Lee (but I think he was already committed to LSU at that point), and did sign GJ Kinne at the last minute. Sort of odd, we usually recruit Brenham well.
 
He is very good even though he didn't play THAT well against Auburn.

Still, he's just a sophomore and has three years ahead of him to show what he can do. Nevertheless, my cousins who live in Baton Rouge and who live and die with the Tigers are raving about true freshman Jordan Jefferson. He's been very impressive in practice and they think he'll steal Lee's job next year. He's more along the lines of Jamarcus Russell.
 
Lee, as a redshirt freshman, is currently number 2 in the SEC in QB efficiency (behind Tebow). Not too bad.
