japon sushi happy hour...

...did not exist 3 weeks ago when I went. I'd heard about it on here once, but they didn't have it then.

According to the sushi chef, they rotate it. Last time I was in it was only drink specials and half price special rolls. However, the half price regular rolls will be back, supposedly.

They have some awesome lunch specials, though.

I asked if they had "any happy hour type of deal", and she said...no happy hour...just regular.

I sent some friends there the other day and they were told no happy hour anymore as well. The happy hour menu was getting smaller and smaller too. I guess as they got busier they needed it less and less.

That would suck. I like havig relatively good and resonably priced sushi right by my house. Of course, that location is pretty much the worst location possible for a restaraunt.

That whole little stretch of frontage is cursed. The JR's that opened up a little bit ago, gone. As were all other things there. Owens Family place, gone too.
