anyone out there seen "The Soloist?" I walked out (politely asked to leave) about an hour into the film. i kept laughing at all the serious moments... what Lazarus (Downey's method acting character in Tripic Thunder) have thought of Foxx's performance! Jamie Foxx plays a former cello prodigy turned mentally challenged homeless man on the streets of LA. Robert Downey Jr. plays a news columnists and friend who tries to put humpty dumpty back together. "Everybody knows you never go full retard!" also, with all the heroin being injected throughout the movie, i thought Downey was gonna have a relapse back to the early 90's. all in all... this film suuuuuuuucked! a far cry from Will Smith's "Pursuit of Happiness."
