i think turgeon is actually recruiting better than gillispie did while at a&m. he's got 3 top 100 guys for next year. although gillispie would almost certainly be doing better had he stayed at a&m than turgeon is now.

He plays for Atascosita in Houston. I saw Atascosita vs. Duncanville (Shawn Williams - TX commit) in one of the McDonald's Invitation Tournament a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, Branch didn't play due to injury (hip flexor). I don't think it would have mattered had he played, as Duncanville won LARGE.

Other than that, I don't know a ton about him. I am going to try and watch as much Houston talent as possible. Just recently, I saw some good players at the Texas Jamboree over the Thanksgiving holiday, including Phil Pressey.
