iWork Problems

I am unable to send iWork attachments in emails. They just will not upload. When I try, the email acts like it is trying to upload the document for a long time. I have left it for 30 minutes seeing if it would ever upload, and it does not. I have tried both Numbers and Pages documents and I have tried to use Yahoo email, .mac email, and my school email.

A second problem is that I cannot upload the same type documents onto my iDisk. It does the same thing - acts like it is trying to upload the document for a long time without ever actually doing it. I am able to upload pictures onto iDisk.

Any ideas of what is wrong or what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

the obvious question is how large are the files. some files can't be sent through email due to size restrictions.

I tried using Yahoo, my school email, and my .mac email address.

I thought that my .mac address would work for sure. And it makes no sense to me that I cannot upload things to my iDisk. The guy who sold me my computer and software at the Apple store said he puts all of his notes from school on his iDisk to back them up.

that really makes no sense. if you're using a web email interface i can't see how anything would be stopping it from uploading the document. did you try to duplicate the doc and see if that dupe can be sent?

I was able to attach a numbers document when I exported it as an excel document and saved that to my computer. It still makes no sense to me though. I guess I should call Apple about it...

it's because the file is a bundle so the email apps don't recognize it. you can zip it and send it. weird problem. never noticed it before.
