Need some help. I am selling something on ebay and buyer is requesting to send me an echeck from a site called iversacheck.com I've looked over the site and it looks legit. Basically he would send me the check made out to me with all of his bank info on it and I'd have to go buy special iversacheck paper from office depot and print it out for deposit.

He understands that the merchandise will not be shipped out until the check has cleared my bank. I've never heard of these before and am just a little leary of banks accepting them. I can buy the paper but have no idea where to go to get it printed out on the right ink. Anyone familiar with this that can assist?

Tell him the way you want to be paid. If you've never heard of the method he is proposing, find a new buyer.

looks like a possible scam to me. i can see two possible scams:

he gives you some body else's account info, which may be legit. you clear it. you send the item. then the true account holder finds out. you are somehow involved with cashing this check.

it could also be used to verify if a bank account is active or not -- with you taking all the legal risk.
