It's time to select your WNBA draft picks

My Top 5
Atlanta Dream - Renee Montgomery. I say Renee because LA needs another point guard and I say Cooper does whatever it takes to find a general to run his team. Phoenix also needs a point guard and I believe will trade something for Renee. Yes, I'm predicting a major shake up in the WNBA.

Washington Mystics - Angel McCoughtry. I think they need a playmaker. Courney is great but I think they need someone ready to go RIGHT NOW!

Chicago Sky - Marissa Coleman. I don't think they need another big w/ Big Syl down low. So therefore I don't think they will select a Paris.

Minnesota Lynx - Dewanna Bonner (They also have a #9 pick in the 1st round and I say they grab one of the Paris sisters with this selection). I think whoever they get with this selection will be a part of a trade.

Phoenix Mercury - Kristi Toliver. They need a point guard. The best point guard left after 1-4 will land in Phoenix.

Nice analysis, Cynt! I would have to put Coleman as my number 2 pick. She seems like more of a team player. I still see some immaturity in McCoughtry.

I really think it will be interesting to see where CP lands in the draft. Does the fact that she has not used her college years to get in better physical shape send the message that she is not willing to put in the conditional work that it takes? And she is going to be going up agains some much better post players in the WNBA and won't be able to miss as many shots and still get her own rebounds.
