I really thought we would have 2-3 more verbals by now. Just the fact that this is even minutely disappointing points out just how spoiled Mack has us. OK, I feel better now. Thanks for listening & btw, what's that sucking noise???

Does anyone know if other schools are getting this many early commitments? I know a bunch of offers have been given, butI don't really follow recruiting nationally.
 
As of yesterday, ou had 1, sc had 1, etc, so NO is the answer. Only Mack can reel 'em in this early.

I wonder if Mack gave anyone the "you will guaranteed a spot until our next junior day" offer. If so, look for more commitments before the next junior day in 2 weeks.
 
I still think you may see a commit or two before the 28th. I don't know this is true, but I wonder if Mack told a few players that Texas had limited spots at certain positions and that they should think strongly about coming or he may offer other juniors at the position - kind of conditional offers - until the numbers are filled. Others, obviously will get more time.

We've beaten OU head to head with all the recruits we've both gone after thus far this year. Of course everyone knows it won't matter in the final class rankings since OU has brought in 25 recruits the past 6 classes.
 
Texdoc, there are too many Thurdsdays left before Signing Day when compared to the 10-12* ships we have left. You are setting yourself up for a bad case of the Thursdays every week.
 
In order to give us #20, I have committed to the University of Texas class of 2010. I am overweight but slow, lack any skills I might have had 20 years ago, have no eligibility and fully understand my verbal commitment is not binding in any way.

Nonetheless, 20 commitments by March 15 is pretty awesome! Way to go Mack!

Let aggy get all bent out of shape when my star rating goes up. Sheman never really had a chance and it is obvious that Stoops has not had time to evaluate me.
 
Well, it just is. No A White announcement until tomorrow, so c'mon Reggie. You can still be # 20.

It's really hard for me to comprehend......just a few more commits and Mack can start pounding on the '11 class.
