ISU takes Kansas to the woodshed

Moral of the story: Road games are a bit-h in the B12. I think we have a legit shot at KU when they come here. Especially if we have a loud "take no prisioners" crowd. Same with Baylor and wvu. Our win over wvu in their place is looking better and better.

Any win at KU, Iowa St, Norman, WVU, Waco, really just about any road game win is noteworthy, in the Big 12 this year.

It's like any other talented hoops league - you HAVE to HAVE to HAVE to take care of business at home, and try to scrap out road wins where you can get them. I think teams in this league play with that sense of urgency at home because they know they're not going to get a better opportunity to knock off a really good opponent. I don't even think it's about home court intimidation - OU's crowd is pretty similar to ours in terms of its limitations. There are definitely some intimidating places to play (Allen, wherever ISU plays, etc...), but I've been to games in Waco, and it's no more intimidating there than any other small road venue.
