Prins is doing a good job bothering Briner so far and boxing out well.

Can't think of a post in the Big 12 that has the size and athletic ability to really make Griner work on offense. Prins has the size but not as much athleticism so she can't afford to get in foul trouble. Gayle, imo, is closer to Griner in athleticism to bother Griner on defense but gives up four inches. Like Prins, she can't afford to get in foul trouble. Just make Griner work.

Hard to see ISU coming back as they are still ice cold from the field. I'm impressed with BU's perimeter defense. Much better than last year. They are going to be awfully tough to beat. We get our chance this coming Wednesday!

watching that replay on Jones' layup, Griner was lucky not to get called for a foul as she extended her arms out, pushing the defender backwards.

Griner picks up her second foul running over a screener. Can ISU capitalize?

silly foul by Griner is her third. She had no chance to get that rebound. Game is really closer than I thought it would be.

far closer than I would have thought with the way that ISU started. fouls by ISU at the will inflate the final point spread. Baylor is going to be a very tough out but they do have some chinks. Sims is really very good and is going to only get better.

Can't wait to see them in Austin.
