Isle of Palms?

Didn't have a family when I used to frequent Charleston, but looked great for a laid back vacation. Didn't seem like too many kid activities, but I wasn't exactly in that lifestyle then. Compared to Folly Beach, Isle of Palms looks more family friendly.

been in charleston for 4 years and love it but hopefully will be heading back to Tx in a year.
IOP is a great place with nice homes, great stretch of beach and good eats. it would be a nice family vacation provided that your family would be extensively entertained by the beach. you could always head into charleston for a tour...ft sumter or the aquarium which is pretty cool.
