but the crimes committed by illegals listed are verifiable.

and now as we face thousands more illegals over 17 should we just say<" Oh they only want a better life?

Is there a way to screen people who want to come here?
Or should we just let in everyone and accept that many of them will commit crime and murder/



edited to correct my "tourettes" mistake. Because that mistake apparently is more important than all the issues connected to our lax enforcement of existing laws which contribute to so many illegals able to commit crimes.

You appear to be correct.
There have been 3000 murders and 8000 rapes( along with over a hundred thousand other crimes )committed by illegals in Texas alone since the end of 2008.

I guess if it wasn't a loved one who got killed or their mother wife sister or daughter who got raped it doesn't matter.

Now I see BO is sending a team to the border to see IF National Guard is needed. Hmmm original thought there.
And BO is floating the idea that HEY, let's go to Honduras etc and sign up kids there so they don't have to pay coyotes and make that hard ol journey. We can just fly them here.

I wonder who many supporters agree with Bo on this idea.

For the overall discussion let's put Parry's false report into the typical political crap bin. and not let that diminish the issue/
and get back to the reality of the increase in illegals increases the illegals committing crimes including rape and murder.
IF we vetted the people we allow into our country is it logical to think perhaps not so many crimes would be committed by legal immigrants?
Yes our own citizens would still commit crimes and yes even the legal immigrants we vetted would commit crimes.

Why wouldn't anyone want our country to know who is coming it?
Even the huddles masses coming in were vetted to a degree when they came through Ellis Island.
 
Not intending to be argumentative here. Sure we would all love to have a secure border with Mexico. But you remember the Berlin Wall and how much, even with a relatively small border in a totalitarian regime, it was circumvented? So is it realistic or advantageous to build the equivalent of a Berlin Wall from Tijiuana to Brownsville and exhaustively search every crossing of a border crossed legally hundreds of thousands of times per week for trade, medical care, shopping, vacations, lunch with friends?

of course you are correct. we can never have a completely secure border
but there are things we have laws for now we don't do; penalize the heck out of employers and then jail them if they repeatedly hire illegal. stop the fraud of our welfare systems and tax refunds ( when you are sending 46 MILLION to one address in atlanta you might have a clue, what has been done to stop this?).
Just doing those 2 things would reduce the flow.
And if we actually need more immigrants then increase the quotas.

then swiftly deport the ones they catch, don't give them permisos and release into the country.
