Is someone hacking my Yahoo messenger?

There's an ******* in the chatrooms that messes with people, by somehow or way he makes the program log you completely off. After that when you try to log back on it takes a while, cause keeps closing Yahoo messenger?
Is he hacking my PC?
What can I do to prevent this?

back in the day, you could copy a whole bunch of emoticons in msn and then keep on pasting it.

this would almost always crash the other person's msn.

try disabling your emoticons and see if this solves this.

Maybe someone just booted you out of the room. If he is hack you, well its not your problem. The messenger software shouldnt allow that. Try upgrading.
