You know the Peanut's character, whenever he walked a cloud of dust followed him around.

Looks like Rich Rodriguez not only has Meatchicken in trouble, but left "dust" behind at WVU before leaving:

(ESPN article linky): The Link

Some guys, Kelvin Sampson, Rich Rodriguez, etc., just seem to carry a cloud of dust with them.

Boy, that is scummy.

michigan's franchione.

i went to the osu/mich game this year and the criticisms i heard of him were eerily similar to what we were saying about fran two years in.

IMO this will not end well for RR or Michigan.

UM does not like this kind of attention and the 8-16 record is a millstone around RR's neck. A lot of pressure on UM and RR to produce results this fall after the 3rd season in his program. RR better have a winning record this fall or the noose gets much tighter,

I suspect UM will be looking for another HC in the next couple of years.

Michigan has never been on probation in football. Never as in ever ever! No way they tolerate this kind of **** and this may be his last year no matter what. How shocking would it be if they canned him now? I doubt it would happen and it would in essence be suicide for the next couple of years but hey, stranger things have happened.

he is their fran

had he won 10 games last year, none of this stuff would have come out. similarly, had fran been more successful, it's likely that the newsletter fiasco would have been swept under the rug.

he's done there.

Loopy,

Agree.

There are some scummy hires like RR.

And then there are some integrity hires like Mack Brown.

I'm surprised that a quality institution like Michigan would have hired a RR -- but maybe they had no idea when they hired him . . . ?
