Started getting his show on satellite radio, and I'm up-hauled at the number of Bama/SEC Kool-aid drinkers who call in to his show - and he's pouring it out faster than James Jones could ever imagine.

It's probably neither here nor there, but a few years ago he made a point of reporting the DUI charge against the daughter of the marching band director at a rival SEC school. If that sort of radio gets you a satellite show, I certainly chose the wrong career.

He stirs up crap, he has regular callers that stir up more crap, and occasionally he has an interview with Barbara Dooley where she speaks in the kind of monotonous southern drawl that probably appeals to the majority of his non-satellite audience.

He's playing to his audience and his sponsers (U. of Alabama). Lucky for him, integrity isn't a prerequisite for success in his field.

That show is awful, but the one that comes on in the morning on that channel is pretty good (rivals radio w/ bill king).

I love the Rivals Radio, King does a great job. Too bad Finebaums SEC homer show comes on later in the day - it's atrocious. The people who call in, of course, are the typical SEC rabble. Hell, one Alabama fan had to ask him what state Penn State was in, and, to his credit, ridiculed her.

He takes a dig at Texas AT LEAST once a day! I remember when I was traveling through Alabama to the coast right after the conference changes and his callers kept saying (and the douchebag agreed) that Texas was scared of joining the SEC and Academics have nothing to do with it!
