Is Obama fever going to jump the shark?

Or is this for real?

I'm just watching this insane fundraising he's got going right now - see here :The Link - and it seems so out of control. I feel like there's going to be some sort of backlash or something.

It could if he says the wrong thing. That's why he hasn't agreed to the four additional debates that Hillary has.

Caveat emptor.

Uh...I would think by now people would figure out Obama is for real in this race

taking more delegates yesterday....being close in the super delgates...taking a wide range of states and improving himself on some of the exit numbers....next few matchups favor him....projected to have another 30 million dollar month fundraising....6 million since last night......hillary having money issues

Yeah...he isnt going away.

I guess I feel like there could be some sort of Howard Dean-like implosion on a massive scale at this point. After all, he raised what was a lot of money back in 04 and look where it got him.

I personally like Obama and hope to heck he beats Hillary, I'm just starting to get a bad feeling. Maybe it's because his supporters are starting to seem a little Deaniac-like.

I guess there's a way spin anything, if one is so inclined. And I'm not saying you're spinning. But someone who'd take your line of thinking that next step would be.

Obamania could possibly be peaking at the right moment. Its another month to the next big state, and Barack could very well win 5, 6 or even all seven of the next primary/caucuses before March 4 (I'm not counting Guam or Am. Samoa). That kind of momentum before Texas and Ohio vote could be decisive, swaying SuperD's and maybe resulting in some figures putting pressure on Clinton to bow out for party unity (I have no illusions that she would do so).

Yes, today Dean said that he'd like to sit both candidates down and hash out an agreement before the convention if it's still even leading up to it. Dumb.

Isn't that what conventions were originally for? Hash it out - I want to see some fistfights on the floor.

I thought hornfans agreed jumping the shark had jumped the shark? Anyways, I don't think there is much of a chance Hillary would drop out before Texas and Ohio. Even if she does terrible in the primaries leading up to them, the big states are where she does best and can make up the most ground.

Now if everything goes Obama's way over the next month I could see her dropping out right after TX and OH. Thats a big if though.

It was a very good thing for him to decline the debates.

It is not necessary and it would be throwing her a bone.

She is screwed.
