Is no one else watching this Aggy choke-job?

Holy hell, they're actually gonna lose this game. They were up 22 at the half, and Tech has just roared back on Mike Singletary's back.

Tech up by 2 with 9 seconds left...

jumped off a movie at 67-66 and watched the greatest choke job ever.... and they even threw it out of bounds with a few seconds to go... hell, I think he threw it into the stands, it was such a bad pass...

Sand Aggie comes from behind what... 22 points?... with Singletary scoring a record 40-something.... Aggie CHOKED...

probably one of the biggest choke jobs in a conference tourney....

if only the NCAA would keep Aggie out of the NCAA just for this alone... but the announcers said only K-State was in position to play their in or out...no one else can play in or out, in this tourney.. are not at risk either way.

Still, would love for aggie to stay home and watch the NCAAs. As it is they go home for the rest of this week.

Aggy is back on the bubble. With the upset of Butler last night, one at-large spot is gone now that Cleveland State won the automatic bid from the Horizon league because Butler's getting in regardless.

The Big 12 will NOT get 7 teams in the tourney. If KSU can win one, and for sure if they win two, they will get in and not aTm.

Singletary was unreal, but consider this --he scored all 29 of Tech's points from the 10:14 mark to the 0:44 mark.

He never drew a double team.

Uh, Coach . . .

No link, but over on Texags they are saying they are still #34 in rpi, actually ahead of us at #35. They are going to make it in. Still though it's fun. These grapes rule.

So ... A&M scored 35 in the second half and Singletary scored 35?

I don't believe I have ever seen that before, where one player scored as many points in an entire half as the other team did.

Ags rewriting the record book tonight:

Largest Halftime Deficit Overcome
Points Teams
18 Texas, March 9, 2007
Baylor led, 43-25, at halftime
Final: Texas 74, Baylor 69

NEW RECORD: TECH COMES BACK DOWN 19 AT HALF

Most Points Scored in a Half
Points Teams
59 Kansas, March 12, 2004
Second Half vs. Missouri
Final: Kansas 94, Missouri 69

TECH TIES THE OLD RECORD BY DROPPING 59 on THE AGS in the 2nd.

Clearly a terrible choke job tonight, but no way we don't get in. RPI and SOS and 9-7 make us virtual locks. Look at any of the bracketologies. Might in a strange way even end up helping us. We were a 8 or 9 seed where you might win 1 and then have to face #1 seed. Now we will be an 11 or 12 probably. If we were to win the first (an upset), second game would be more winable.

Still, a choke job.

It was hilarious, I just love watching Aggy implode and the beauty of it is they provide that opportunity so often.

Pooooor Agggieeess!!

I wish you ******** hadn't beat Mizzou. Then you'd have been out.

But as it is, aggiegreg, I agree with you. Not only are you still in, you probably avoided the dreaded 8-9 hole.
