Is it so wrong that I like Johnny Depp?

I love his acting. I feel awkward publicly stating my appreciation for him but I don't understand why. Maybe it's b/c he's too good to live in the USA so I think I inherently feel that I should put him in that traitor boat but he is so damn good at what he does for a living.

Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow (in the first movie) was one of his best performances to date. He is very, very good at what he does and very easy on the eyes. I am a huge fan.

i think he's excellent.
you say it as if you're struggling with a mancrush.

what's not to like abt Depp? whether he or Sean Penn is "the greatest actor of his generation", I like Depp for what he brings to the quirky roles he chooses: the mincing Jack Sparrow, the strange but tender Edward Scissorhands, weird Ed Wood, the hilarious Sands in Once Upon a Time in Mexico, stoner Raoul Duke, his romantic character in Chocolat, Ichabod Crane, Cry-Baby Walker, Gilbert Grape, Donnie Brasco....

the guy's good

His diversity is amazing, as the poster highlighted above.

I was not a huge fan of the movie Sweeny Todd. But some scenes i would get lost in just how natural his acting is. Appears so effortless, but still hits the right note, tone, and mood.

Of course its ok to like him. He's a good actor and oh so fuckable. I want to have his babies and I've already gotten permission to cheat on my boyfriend with him should the opportunity ever arise.

Hey I'm married with kids and even I think he's fuckable.

What's wrong with liking Johnny Depp again? I don't understand the OP.
