an amazing story is obama can get this nomination..a year ago this scenario would have been unthinkable. he won more delegates yesterday but super tuesday has been reported as a clinton victory because she won new york and california. i have a hard time believing she will be able to keep up. i beleive the remaining electorate states favor obama..

Honest question from a political n00b...since this is a loan how and when does she get paid back? And I read her net worth is 30+ million, how does she have so much money?

I don't believe this is true-Hillary raised more earlier, Obama raised more in January. This might signal the money is following the front-runner, though. It doesn't mean the HRC campaign is "out of money," by any means.
Obama has been a money machine for awhile now...and he just crushed her in the important Jan cycle

Obama has all the resources to push hard the next month or two...even all the way to the convention if needed.

You Hillary haters never stop, I'll grant you that.
Obama outraised Hillary 3 to 1 in January, not overall, not any other period. If that means that is how it will be from now on, granted that would be meaningful. But it isn't necessarily the case. Time will tell.

One thing to remember when talking about donations is the source of them. Hillary has fewer people giving larger amounts, Obama has a much larger number of people donating smaller amounts. Because of this, Obama will have a much easier time raising money in the long run, you can hit up smaller donors time and time again, something that's hard to do when someone gave you a big chunk of change the first time.

Hilary is tapped out for the primaries from here existing base of donors. This was a problem that was identified earlier this Fall. She does NOT have broad appeal.

In less than 30 min. it's gone from $4.4 million to $4.955.
It has more to do with more people giving less, not less giving more. Obama has got a ton of people coast to coast and everywhere in between hitting him with nickels and dimes.

Look, bottom line is her campaign had a Maginot Line strategy, and Obama's campaign utilized their organizational advantage and mobility to simply outflank it. She's falling back now, hoping to regroup and establish another defensible position in Texas and Ohio, but he's gotten her top-heavy forces out in the open field, away from their fortresses, where he has a decided advantage.
Penn and McAuliffe have been playing checkers (King me!!) , while Plouffe and Axelrod were playing chess (Check).
