Don't know who all will come out this year, so top five are hard to predict. Ham will be top ten, no doubt.
by the way, that ally oop, from the great pass, to the great dunk, was fantastic. I don't think anyone but Brown makes that pass, and no one but Ham controls it into the basket.
i second the awesomeness of the alley-and the oop. plus, i think jordan is probably higher on the draft boards than jimmer. singler from duke might be up there, though as well as jajuan johnson from purdue. harrison barnes from unc was projected as a top 2-3 pick even before he played a game in college. not sure where he sits now since i haven't really heard about him much since unc has struggled.
Obviously I'll never see a check with as many zero's as Thompson and Hamilton are looking at but it would be nice to have them back for a few years. Besides..it looks like Thompson could use some work on his FT's.
Jordan so looks like this other dude named Jordan. Obviously not in the same class, but the game is very similar. JH needs to continue to work on his post up game and drive to the bucket, but he's turned into a complete player this year.
that mock draft is terrible. i don't see how alec burks, tyler honeycutt, and kawhi leonard are all rated higher than jordan hamilton. i think hamilton is a lottery pick, but not top 5.
Thompson would go ahead of Hamilton because it's tougher to find that position. I think they'd both go in the top12. I'd really like to see Thompson stay another yr for his own good. I'd hate to see him sit on an NBA bench for 2-3 yrs learning what he could learn with 1 more yr in college. Some kids react poorly and regress. It's a gamble either way but I'd say another yr of free education to focus on weaknesses can't be a bad thing. More likely quick money will rule the day
Yeah, so many kids will leave around the country, many too early.
I think Jordan is gone, but I think TT might stay. Although, if I were him, it would be tough for me to turn down the $$$$.
But as someone above says, he could up his value, I think, if he stayed and worked on his game. The kid will be a monster one of these days. He's got quick feet, a great first step for a big man, and soft hands, explosion and elevation.
Come to think of it, he has most of the whole package.
I think it goes without saying that as fans we want all players to play 4 years here, but the reality is why the OP asked the question. Hamilton will be ready after this season...whether he's top 5 or not. Thompson is a big and those guys always have a higher ranking...just because. He could use another year but he may be ready to go.
Here's to continued outstanding play from all of them!!
