Is early voting still going on in Austin?

I looked it up and my voting precinct is at Kiker Elementary. Can I vote until Friday for early voting? Do I have to go to another place or can I go to Kiker after work?

Early voting runs till the 29th.

But you can't vote at Kiker until the 4th. If you want to vote early, you have to go to an early voting location:The Link

You can vote at the Randall's at Mopac and Wm Cannon through the 29th.

On the 4th, my caucus location is at Shepard of the Hills Presbyterian Church at Wm Cannon and Beckett. There might be another one in Circle C, but that's mine and it's not too far from you.

You can vote early at any early voting location until the 29th. A list can be found at traviscountyelections.org and most are open from 7am to 7pm.

To vote a second time, go to your regular polling place at 7:15 the evening of the 4th for the caucus (also refered to as the precinct convention). When you walk in there will be two clip boards, one for each candidate. Simply sign up for the one you support.

For the Democratic primary (I don't know how it works on the Republican side):

2/3 of the total delegates will be awarded based on the vote and 1/3 based on the caucus.

On an interesting side note, the number of caucus delegates each county gets is determined by the number of people that voted democrat in the last gubenatorial election. That translates to Travis County having more delegates to award then either Dallas or Houston despite a smaller population. So your caucus vote carries more weight simply because you're voting in Travis County.

I'm going to the precinct convention for the first time this year. Do you just sign up and then leave or do you have to stick around for a while? My wife and I are trying to figure out if we need a babysitter that night or not.
