Is CBS really not showing any games in HD?

yea I'm serious. I have Directv, with the full HD package, upgraded box, 75+ hd channels, locals over the dish, everything.

For some reason, every game on the CBS HD channel is not in HD, and doesn't have the little HD in the guide bar.

I've watched many many SEC cfb games of the week on CBS in HD, so I know it works.

Any ideas?

ok, well it looks like Duke/WV will be in HD now.

Weird. I swear none of the thursday/friday games were in HD. Probably an issue with the dumbass local cbs affiliate here on Phoenix.

Probably something with your local affiliate. I've had all the games in HD on my Chicago local on Directv. Every game in the March Madness package is also in HD on DTV. It's a good thing I got the package too as none of the games I want to see are the local game.

I have Time Warner in Austin and every game is in HD. The sound annoyingly goes between 5.1 and 2.0 in the game at times though.

well its a ******* asswhip.

I could order the directv package to get high def, but as sure as I did, the Texas game would be broadcast by our local affilliate (apparently in low def) and thus blacked out on directv.

Like I said before. **** this.

On my Dish Network there are two CBS lines, one is HD and one is standard rez. Are you sure that Direct doesn't have the same setup and that you are selecting the wrong line for the CBS feed?
