Is a MINI John Cooper Works a chick car?

My wife has wanted a MINI for over a year. We went and test drove them yesterday, and I was impressed with the John Cooper Works. It's faster than the M Roadster I had in '02. Question is -- is a MINI a chick car?

Who cares if they are, they are fun as hell to drive.

I wouldn't buy one, but that's only because I have no desire to swap out $1500 sets of tires every 25k mi.

if it is an everyday car, then it most definitely is a chick car

IMO it's less of a chick-car than a Miata, Bug/Rabbit, SLK, or Lexus RX/SC. It's on par with a BMW 3-series where it's all how you spec it out and use it.
