As good as it is, in Austin there are so many great BBQ options that I dare say that Iron Works may actually be a bit ... over-rated.I fully expect a thrashing. But I have eaten lunch at the 'Works' for years since I work downtown. But I guess it has lost much of its lustre for me. Don't get me wrong. It is good barbecue. It's just that there are so many great choices, for the money there are better options IMHO.

Where else but Ironworks or County Line can one get beef ribs?

expensive and they make you pay for pickles..only upside is downtown convenience.

Stubbs and Berts both have beef ribs. At least they used to. I haven't eaten at either in about 4 or 5 years. I used to eat at Berts on Far West at least two or three times a week.
