Two related questions:

1) Is Iran trying to build a nuclear bomb?
2) If we try sanctions etc... to stop Iran but they continue to work on developing nuclear weapons, should the US attack them?

Let the Israelis take care of the problem. They have their own nuclear arsenal and I'm sure aren't afraid to use a few warheads.

Does anybody feel Deja Vu between Iraq 10-12 years ago and Iran today?

This sounds very familar and similar to each other......

Of course though we went into Iraq for oil.

What was that Colonist what? Are you locked in an asylum? Are you still smoking PCP and spitting on returning troops?

If not, that is what you sound like.

We should invade and successfully rebuild their country as an American ally and staunch friend of Israel like we did in Iraq and then move on to Myanamar and do the same. Sri Lanka should be next.

Closer to home, Canada is supplying a lot of the drugs that are sapping our youth of their mental health and we should invade them and Mexico, which is guilty of the same.

Our military/anti-drug mission to Honduras should be expanded and extended to Nicaragua and Belize and Guatemala.

We have trained, skilled, veteran and highly motivated troops for the job and GOD IS ON OUR SIDE.

You ask a good question. What is difference about the atrocities going on in Syria from Libya.
I am sure a supporter will be along soon and able to explain how Libya was diffferent

I was referring to how Iran is using aiding and abetting Syria, very close to being an " annexation"

No. It's a large country with significant history and place in the world. I wish they didn't have nukes, but we are not the world's policeman and Iran is not a threat to us unless they draw us into a quagmire mostly of our own making. This is not a hard call.

Watching MSNBC and its a laugh.

Assad supporting militants, not in unform, but aided also by Iran (they must have been wearing pins with Ahmadinejad's face on them), massacred an entire village for no other reason than to earn the ire of the free world.

Give me a freaking break. And now we have to care about Syria. So we kick out the Syrian diplomats from the US because Assad's regime is barbaric, even though there isnt any proof that Assad made the call to just kill a village of his own people for no good reason.

And whats more, we have the gaul to call this out when our tax dollars have been supporting dictators who have murdered their own people for decades.

Horn6721 and Shiner? Were you guys supportive of Obama when he loaned US muscle to the war in Libya? If you were I must have missed it because I can't remember either of you ever giving the man any credit for anything.

The main difference, in my opinion, is that in Libya, European powers took the lead on the intervention and asked our help. The militants were pretty potent and had seized a significant portion of the country when we intervened and we didn't look like there would be any need for us to put boots on the ground.
