Give me a break. So this guy from Corpus was approached by an Iranian agent, told that he was an Iranian agent, given 1/5 million US dollars and then directed straight to an undercover US DEA agent?

This story stinks to high heaven.

When you hire a hitman, you dont reveal yourself or your sources. That way, if the hitman is caught, he cant trace anything back to you.

I dont buy this for one second.

general...I'm saying they CHOSE to release the info at a time when Holder was under fire from the Repubs in Congress. Now he can claim he's too busy fighting terrorism to waste time on partison BS.
 
Three years ago, I would think it crazy to suggest any Presidential Administration would stage something like this, but after what I've seen from Obama and Co, I wouldn't put ANYTHING past them.

What I am saying is that no state sponsor of an assassination would come out and tell the assassin who they were. Thats basic. Hi Im Iran. Heres some money. Go kill this guy. And when you get caught, dont tell them we sent you.

Im sorry, but this is laughable. Say what you want about Iran, but they arent dumbasses. No state sponsored hit would be so easy to trace. I promise. This is totally a smear job. The guy probably believes that he was hired by Iran, but I can assure you Iran didnt hire him. Maybe some Iranians who think they are big shots hired him, but the state of Iran did not do this. Too shoddy. Way too shoddy and way too conveniently figured out. Oh, and the timing is also just too damn convenient.
 
There is more than meets the eye on this one. Remember the Iranians were behind the Hariri (a strong Saudi connection) assasination as well. Some more details are emerging that dissidents within the mullahcracy might've been behind this. Stay tuned...more to come.
 
The accusations by the US government here are that there WAS a conspiracy... Blows the mind, doesnt it.

But lets not let the true definition of the word conspiracy get in the way of the idea that it only refers to alternative theories not officially approved of by the government.
 
I love how Hillary goes on TV and says that they are going to make Iran pay. HOW? Russia and China aren't going to help. France? You bet!. We impose embargos and the rest of the world goes on like nothing happened. The only way Iran will pay is when Israel decides to make them pay.
 
Apparently you know more than the Saudis, 2003, because one of the princes was quoted as saying they are fully convinced Iran was behind this plot, stating "the evidence is overwhelming."
Everything is on tape, there is proof. The perp's cousin is a high ranking Iranian Qods secret agency employee. I can see that it is puzzling how they would hire this loser in Round Rock to make contact with a professional hit man, though.
 
We should know soon. Obama said yesterday in his presser woth the south Korean PM that details were released that clearly showed the gov't of Iran did plan this.

Perhaps those details will be released today
 
As some on here might know, I am half Iranian, and I have had family members who were high ranking military personnel in Iran under the Shah. I am personally not that close with that side of the family that still lives in Iran, but I can tell you that this kind of operation would not be this shoddy from the discussions I have had with people who I know with a very good familiarity of how things work.

Carrying out an operation like this would be much more sophisticated, and what we are hearing about this sounds like a very poorly executed operation.

Of course Saudi Arabia is going to jump on this because politically it helps their cause. And of course Obama is going to come out and say there is overwhelming proof that Iran was behind this.

The basics of this case are just too ridiculous to be believable. Evidence is very easy to fabricate by the way. Even photographic evidence. Its just very difficult to buy this story.

No one I know that has knowledge of Iranian military or intelligence capabilities has taken this seriously, and some have outright laughed at its plausibility.

but the indictment names the iranian who wired over a 100k to the Round Rock idoit
myabe it was just a rogue Iranian too stupid to understand how mexican cartels work.

And Im nothing special. Im a Texan born and raised, I drink beer and I like girls in chaps. I just happen to be half Iranian to a family that has had connections to the Shah, Mossadeq and that has had military and intelligence in that country over a period of 40 years.

Theres a lot I dont know, but when I ask questions on matters such as these to people who have a good degree of familiarity, they tell me is highly, highly unlikely. Any high ranking elements within Iran would not execute a plan such as this. It makes for good theater for public consumption, but it just wouldnt be carried out this way.

That said, lets see what the actual proof is. Its hard to believe what anyone says these days because just about anything can be fabricated.
