Iran Pres smacks down BO

I simply can't believe how inept BO and his admin are
from Politico:
"President Barack Obama and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will not meet at the United Nations on Tuesday, senior administration officials said.

The White House had offered to have “an encounter” between the two leaders on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, but Iranian officials ultimately declined.

Whether BO should have ever offered is a different issue but how in the hell did his admin play this so wrong?
Between that and the Pres of Brazil blasting Bo admin for spying this hasn't been a good start to BO's 5rd ( or is it 6th) healing the world tour.

One of the conservative pundits on Meet the Press stated a few weeks ago that these types of meetings are the outcome many many hours of negotiations by underlings behind the scenes. Could it be that in the end Iran was unwilling to meet our demands for a meeting which is something their new Pres asked for?

I opened this thread thinking the usual right-leaning crowd would be excited for the meeting not to occur. It now appears that no matter what happens you'll find something to criticize the Obama Administration. Damned if you do...damned if you don't. It doesn't matter to some.

Husker, that is why meetings don't happen until everything is agreed upon. And it is the same reason that Bush did not meet with rogue country leaders. Obama screwed up. He agreed to meet and announced the meeting before details were agreed upon. It is negotiations 101. It makes Obama look both weak and inept.

Obama has done nothing positive for this nation. He was elected and re-elected because he plays the role of Santa to the his constituants ( the uninformed. low information masses, and the votes of the "victims" that the dem party has created.
