IPod Touch

So I just got one of these 8G models as a gift. For those that already use this, what apps do you really love? And what are some of the cooler things I can do with this thing. It's my 1st IPod. Currently just have downloaded some music and created one playlist.

Since you're not getting much of a response, I'll chime in. You can download most apps that work on the iPhone. From watching my daughter on her touch, the only things she can't do are use it as a phone, take pictures, and have unlimited use of apps that require internet connection (and she can use those when she's on a wireless network). Just play around with it; it wil be fun.

Try the 'Pandora' app. I use that one in the office often, with the iHome player. Very nice.
If you do not have an iPhone, like I don't, it is a pretty cool gadget but I do wish had a camera.

BTW. if you are on a wireless network and download the skype app, you CAN make calls and IM on it, I think.

I have an iphone, so I've never done it. But it should work...

Skype requires a microphone, but they're cheap and readily available for the iPod Touch.

I set this up last night for my wife, Air Video, very cool so far. I store all my dvds (movies/tv shows/etc) on my home network and stream them to the TVs, so I have a ton of media stored locally. I was watching some of it last night on her Ipod Touch and it played beautifully and there is an experimental portion to stream them over the internet.
