I recently put some outdoor speakers, well, outdoors. I would like a docking station for my home stereo that would allow me to simply place the ipod in and go. I would really like to have a remote for it that would control the tunes from about 15 feet away through the glass windows separating my deck from my living room.
Does anyone know what the best ones are? I saw a kensington one that looked good for about 40 bucks and then the apple on on their website.

Are there others you would suggest that may be better? My receiver is a yamaha - really nice one from about 6 years ago - so it isn't IPOD equipped. I will simply run an RCA style connector into one of my unused composite inputs (minidisk most likely).
I haven't ruled out running the docking station to the deck area - but if I do that I will have to run two. Because I won't always want the damn thing outside. I am sure I am not the only one who has done this - so any of you who know more about this **** than I do feel free to educate me.
