IPOD question

I have an older IPOD, one of the bigger ones with the scroll wheel, big screen. It doesn't work anymore at all. If I go buy one of those tiny $45 IPODs, can I just plug it in and have the songs transfer to that, or do I actually have the buy the same model?

You should check out the new Shuffle...smaller than the original, holds up to 1000 songs, allows multiple playlists, controls are on the earbud cord(which is much better) and there is a button you can push which tells you the song title, performer and the titles of your playlists.

If you don't have the music on Itunes for some reason there are some free software programs you can use to download from your Ipod into Itunes and then you can synch back-up with your new Ipod. Alternatively, I bought/downloaded a program called CopyTrans which cost $20 and works really good for transferring songs from the Ipod.
