iPhoto questions

1. I have about 600 pics on iPhoto right now. It is slow as hell to do anything. Does iPhoto have a limit to how much you can have on it? Everything else on the computer runs fine and quickly.

2. Does iPhoto have any movie capability, or must i have iMovie? My new digital (the canon A510 as recommended by fellow hornfans posters) has a video capability but i can figure out if it can work with iphoto. it works with the canon software, but that software kind of sucks (at least compared to my precious mac software).

for #1, what version do you have? Earlier versions seemed to have trouble with large libraries.

2. Pretty sure you can import video clips in iphoto 5, with mpeg4-don't have first hand experience.
