does anyone think this team will be looking past this one b/c of monday's game? im kind of nervous about that. Don't know much about the cyclones but saw they lost to some pretty bad teams this year but beat mizzou; It's looking more and more like we just caught mizzou at their peak for one game.
 
If we look past any big 12 road game, then we don't deserve to win.

Any game on the road in the big 12 is a big game, IMO. And I'm sure Barnes and the team know this. I don't see them looking past ISU.
 
In an effort to capitalize on the reverse karma I created with my OU prediction....

Iowa State is going to kill us. It will look a lot like the road loss to the Ags.
 
While in Ames the team should never, NEVER forget that they have a big game with KU in Austin on nationaly televised Big Monday. .... Was that a whistle I just heard?
 
I am uphauled you don't have more faith in Barnes than that... he will have 'em properly focusnessed on ISU. No overlooking anybody before KU.

Really guys, Barnes will have em ready to play...Don't lose faith! Aggy pounded ISU on the road so texas should do the same.
 
The ball is just not going our way, both on rebounds and our shots not going in.

Also, I'm tired of fanbases who boo everytime they have foul.
 
we are the worst ******* at the buzzer team ever.

how easy was it to predict that result? Dribble the ball to 3 seconds and take a horrible shot. thats what we do every time.
 
we are now 5-3 against ISU in their house. they field a good team in a basketball ripe part of the country, and hey, everyone gets up to play Texas. another Big 12 road game, another win to be proud of, regardless of circumstances
 
If the amount of unwarranted booing is an accurate measure of a fan base's basketball IQ, then Iowa State's fans are in Karl Childers territory.
 
I don't think they got the short end of the calls at all. Foul on AJ when Iowa State dribbles the ball off of Damion's foot. Foul on James when he had the clear angle to a loose ball, was out in front, and the Iowa State guy threw himself at his legs. Called walk on Dexter's dunk, didn't look like he came close to moving that pivot foot. DJ was out of control today, but he was also fouled multiple times driving with no call. I will say we had the advantage on at least 2 out of bounds calls that clearly went off of us.
 
We don't seem to run plays especially well this season. Look at the sloppy inbounds plays and the lack of scoring off of inbounds plays. The end of regulation was also disappointing. Was nice to see Johnson with another good game though and nice to see DJ work it into him for some good looks. I was beginning to think we had forgotten how to pass from the key to the post.
 
What happened to the front-running aggy? Probably out celebrating Iowa State's 35 minute victory over Texas at the Dixie Chicken.
 
We've had very sloppy inbounds plays for several years now, which is odd because for the first few years Rick Barnes was here, those seemed to be his strong point.
