But I'm interested and want to know:
- How much did it cost?
- Did they make all the braces at once? Or do they make a new mold every few months?
- How often do you go back to the orthodontist.
- Does the same orthodontist have to do the check ups?
i will follow in suit and not have an answer... i just got one invisalign tray after my teeth shifted 3 years after my braces were removed. instead of another retainer, i got an invisalign mold. it's good, doesn't hurt... but you definitely feel pressure. in my case it's worse since i'm only getting one and not the gradual steps with invisalign.
go to the boards at dentistry.com... there are a couple threads that will answer your questions.
BTW, mc gusto, reading the dentistry.com forum, it seems like a lot of people have trouble removing their invisalign braces when they first change trays.
i'm much better today. just make sure you have strong nails if you get the treatment. having had braces and now getting to do invisalign, i recommend the latter. it is a lot easier to handle. you should ask around, orthodontics prices vary a lot. my braces (all coverage for life) were done for $3000, most of which was covered by insurance.
Me too. My current company has awesome health and prescription drug insurance ($30 for elective UPPP surger including drugs!!!) But we get butkus for dental and vision.
