Any one try/have these? Im looking for pros and cons as well as cost.

Had mine last year. Cost about 4K I think.

Worked for me. Got a new set every 2 weeks. The 1st 2-3 would make my teeth hurt for a few days but after awhile it was no big deal.

After they are straightened you get a retainer.

Cons: It takes a little while to get used to having something on your teeth.
They may have to bond little grippers on your teeth if a tooth needs to be turned more or pulled down. Doesn't hurt. Just weird to have things on your teeth.
Have to wear them all the time.
Pros: People will not notice unless you tell them.
You can take them out.
They do work.

That's what we paid for my daughters braces recently.

I had braces as a kid. I had to do invisalign as an adult after my wisdom teeth made my teeth shift.

Invisalign is 100x's better than braces.

Braces hurt like hell when you get them tightened. The cut your gums, get food stuck in them, and look like hell.

Invisalign rocks. It was pain free except a little soreness the first day of new trays. It cost me $3600 and was well, well worth it.

I was quoted $2100 for braces but I wouldn't have done braces if they paid me.

yes, you take them out to eat.

You keep them in for about two weeks and then they give you some new trays to put in.

I can tell you this, be prepared the very first time they pop them in. It fits REAL tight and it kind of trips you out at how tight. You will get used to it in about ten to fifteen minutes though.

I would be wearing some right now if we didn't have a kid this year. Maybe I'll have the money again when she graduates college.

I am told you have to pay up front true? I have about $4000 to burn from the flex spending account before 2008 ends. Does anyone know if this is covered under that type of plan?

how much movement did you need when you had them?

i had braces as a kid and they didn't put in a permanent retainer, so now my bottom teeth have moved. wife is in the same situation. we've thought about invisalign but haven't really looked into it yet.
