Into the Wild Soundtrack

Anyone heard "Into the Wild" by Eddie Vedder? My girlfriend loves Eddie Vedder and I'm curious how good this Soundtrack is because I may buy it for her?

It's really good. It's all Vedder with mostliy acoustic short songs. Not sure "Society" wasn't my favorite song of 2007. If she likes Vedder, she will like it.

I just got it and think it is excellent. The songs are short, but very good. It made me wish for more of them or longer tracks. Years ago I thought the knock on Vedder was that he couldn't play very well, but I think both his vocals and instruments are great on this album.

I missed the movie at the theater, but will definitely be checking it out on DVD (hopefully it is out soon).

Same as above. Album is too short, but each song is very well done. You can tell that Vedder felt very strongly about this project and that passion translates into the music well. Buy it.

I didn't get to see the movie yet, because I have a baby at home. I read the book and I am ready to watch the HDDVD when it comes out next month.
