SkyMonkey, what tournament(s) did you watch? My 17U team played in the Main Event, but it appears that the Adidas Super 64 and Center Stage tourneys were better this year.
Do you coach the Texas Bluechips ?
If so then I saw your team play Q. Millers team. I was running from gym to gym for two days and I remember Brett asking me about a forward on the TBC's but I do not remember his name right now.
They had 4-5 gyms going on , Jwon Howard and a bunch of NBA players where there at the Super 64. Great experience with a lot of great BB players.
Really liked Tristan and Mycks Grassroots play, the other guy I think his name is Luke Crothen got the best of tristan several times, liked his hustle and muscles rebounding.
Seems like a blur at times until I look at my notes or Brett calls and asks about a player. Great time.
Should hook up with you some time. I was so tired I did not head out to Orlando for the nationals, first time I missed in 5 years. What are the names of your forwards?
Q is growing if you take his coach Brian Clifton on his word. Stated last week that Q was 6'9" and that the Dr. did not think he was done growing.
Q is quick, great handle for his size, nice J to about the ARC, rebounds well but needs to get stronger just like any 17 yr old kid that is still growing and eating. Q has the desire to be the best, heard from Clifton that he puts in a lot of work on his game.
Runs the court well beats his man to the spot he wants, I really like the way he blocks shots, great timing, uses his looong *** arms, and he gets up the second and third time like it was his first jump. I really like his game which I think will develop into a power type game.
Q has UK / Duke/ UNC on one level then Baylor, Florida/ Kansas at this point. People were saying that Coach K was at all his games in Vegas
