While Leach has some "interesting" comments, he's also a whiny little ***** when it comes to losing to UT.

Big Tex- agree that Leach whines about losing to UT, he is a competitor. They are going to be good and they scare the **** out of me, especailly in Lubbock! They recruited two 4 star DE's and have a bunch back on D. They have 10 back on O, I think. This is their year if ever there was one! This will be his best team barring anything unforeseen now. I still hope we make him whine again. I just hope he rips blow U and the Ags off the map!

As a Tech fan it seems like Texas plays its best game of the year versus Leach for some reason. Anyway, the past two years, Colt has played very well and due to the talent discrepency, it is difficult for Tech to win when Texas plays really well.

This next year, Tech should be good but it is still not the type of team that just shows up and wins like some of the elites. It will have to play very well versus a lot of the Big 12 to win games, especially on the road.

Other thing hat is now interesting with Tech is that it now has a defensive coordinator that cares about recruiting. The previous DC could care a less but I think you will start to see some better defenses on the South Plains to compliment Leach's offense. It should make things interesting in the future when Tech will actually be able to get some stops.

We've been getting a lot of love, for us anyway, but we are still generally being picked as 4th or 5th best in the Big XII. We've got to play 3 out of our first 4 conference games on the road at aggie, the orange bowl champ and that invincible (at least for UT recently) KSU squad. If we could get through that we might make some noise.
