InsideTexas speaks at Houston Lunch Bunch Thursday

Inside Texas is a long time publication covering UT athletics. With a long history of independence, but currently associated with Scout.com, their main reporter, Bill Frisbie, has agreed to come out to the Houston Lunch Bunch on Thursday at noon time to discuss all things UT sports.

Houston Lunch Bunch meets every week on Thursdays at the Rice Epicurean on Foutainview, just south of San Felipe between San Felipe and Westheimer. The meeting room is to the left as you enter the doors.

With recruiting at its heighth, the big win over Kansas in basketball, and spring practice right around the corner, there'll be a lot to talk about.

I'm not associated with Inside Texas in any way, but am simply a regular attendee of the Houston Lunch Bunch who would love to see anyone interested in gathering with fellow Longhorn lovers in the Houston area come out to see what its all about.

SLX thanks for the heads up. I definitely will switch my schedule around to be there. I was there when Ketch spoke and really enjoyed it.
 
Yeah, Ketch does a great job. His cohort, Gerry Hamilton, is probably the most frequent scheduled speaker.

Also, Randy Rogers comes in and speaks about 3 or 4 times a year. Jerry Scarbrough of True Orange spoke a couple of weeks ago, and is a regular. For baseball fans, Tommy Harmon comes and speaks a couple of times a year. We've had David McWilliams. Gail Goestenkors did an outstanding job when she visited last fall prior to the season. We're hoping one of the basketball assistants will come by this summer.

Mostly, though, it's just a great group of people who are longtime, hardcore Longhorn fans and want to see Texas do well in everything they participate in. It's football heavy, as you'd expect, but there's plenty of talk about all the Texas affiliated teams.
